Linkrust or linkrusta one of the modern finishing of rolled materials, characterized by good strength, durability, hygroscopicity. Invented in 1877 by Frederick Walton, this material is still very widely used in the decoration of various premises.

The name "linkrust" comes from the English brand Lincrusta-Walton, which in turn is derived from the Latin word "linum" meaning flax, and "crusta" which means relief.
