But today the squid is not a children's horror story, but a tasty and healthy product. Squid meat is used for preparation of various salads, recipes of which there are tens and hundreds.

Salad with squid, egg and onion

To prepare this salad you will need:

  • fillet of squid 0.5 kg
  • eggs – 3-4 PCs.
  • onion 2-3 small onions
  • mayonnaise
  • herbs for decoration
  • salt to taste

First we need to prepare squid. With thawed squid fillet, remove the film. So the film was shot easily, you can rinse the squid with boiling water. Peeled from the film fillet squid boil in boiling salted water for no more than 3-5 minutes, otherwise the meat will become tough.

Finished calamaries shredded straw, add chopped thin straws eggs and onions.

Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix. Add salt and spices to taste. When serving, decorate the salad with herbs.

Small recommendation. This salad will taste even better if instead of fresh onions to use marinated. To pickle onions "in haste", you can: mix a small amount of vinegar, salt and sugar.
