What Christmas buffet without snacks with red fish? Salmon, for example, goes well with cheese. Why not take this into account when planning the Christmas menu and not to cook, say, rolls of cheese with salmon.

Cheese rolls with salmon

To prepare this spicy snack you will need:

  • 300 g slightly salted salmon or trout
  • 200 g of hard cheese
  • 30 g of greens (parsley or dill)

Grate cheese on a grater. Dill or parsley wash, dry and finely chop. Mix cheese with herbs, put in a small pot and put in a water bath. Heat the cheese in a water bath until it melts, not forgetting to stir constantly.

If you do not want to complicate your life with a water bath, try an easier way. Fold the grated cheese with chopped greens in a tight polyethylene bag, dip it into hot water, holding the tip, and hold in it until the cheese dissolves (about 3 minutes).

Finished cheese mass lay on food film, cover the second piece of film from the top and roll with a rolling pin. There should be a thin layer of cheese. Salmon or trout cut into thin pieces and lay them on cheese. Fold the cheese with salmon rolls, put the roll under an easy press and put it in the refrigerator.

Before serving, the roll is cut into slices and decorated with branches of fresh greens.
