Lemon hearts for Valentine's Day
To bake lemon cookies in the form of hearts, we need:
- 200-250 g peeled ground almonds
- 125 g icing sugar
- 100 g icing sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 0,5 tbsp lemon juice
- grated zest of half a lemon
- fat for greasing the pan
Egg yolks pour into a bowl, adding icing sugar and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer at high speed for a minute. Add in a bowl the ground almonds, baking powder and grated lemon zest. The exact number of ground almonds-defined eye — it will depend on the size of the yolks we took. Knead homogeneous dough.
Board sprinkle a tablespoon of icing sugar and roll out the dough into a smooth layer with a thickness of about 5 mm. Mold cut out dough hearts. Vystelim a baking tray with baking paper, grease with fat and bake for 10 minutes. The oven should be pre-heated to 180-200
While the hearts are baked, mix the remains of the icing sugar with lemon juice to obtain a thick homogeneous mass. The cookies immediately covered with glaze.
