Wash peppers, carefully cut away the stalk and remove the seeds (it is important not to damage the wall of the pepper). Again rinse the peppers and dry with paper napkins. Fry peppers in small amount of vegetable oil on all sides.

Put the peppers in the sauce, cover and cook about 40 minutes over low heat. Before serving, pour the sauce and sprinkle with parsley.

Peppers stuffed with meat and rice

The more hearty meat dishes you can cook stuffed peppers with meat and rice. To cook stuffed peppers with the stuffing, we'll take :

  • 1 kg Bulgarian pepper
  • 0,5 kg of minced meat
  • 0,75 tbsp. rice
  • 3 bulbs
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 liter of tomato juice, water or broth
  • parsley (green), black pepper, salt — to taste
  • butter for sauteed

If you want you can add some fresh tomatoes or tomato sauce. Cook 110-15 minutes under the cap (until half of the rice).

Mix the rice, cooked onions, ground meat, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, add the greens. Received meat fill the prepared peppers. Put the peppers in a low wide pot, pour the tomato juice, broth or water. Simmer the peppers on a slow fire until tender (about 30-40 minutes).
