Preserving cabbage with mushrooms in tomato sauce
Vegetables with mushrooms are a delicacy worthy of a festive table, but it is also acceptable in everyday treats. Considering the grandiosity of the main winter holiday and the saturation of the next New Year holidays, it is impossible to do without such a salad in the cold season. To prepare it you will need:
- pounds of mushrooms,
- 2 pounds white cabbage,
- vegetable oil,
- tomato paste (and one that is made at home),
- different seasonings.
In a wide range of choice of mushrooms it is better to stop on champignons. These mushrooms are convenient for their small size and lack of bitter aftertaste, which deprives us of the need to soak them before twisting. From the spices it is appropriate to have a standard set of spices, used for pickling mushrooms: bay leaf, sweet pepper, currant leaves and cherries.
The preservation of cabbage with mushrooms in stages
1. Finely shred cabbage, cut into rings with onions. Cut the vegetables into a saucepan and put it on the gas. Pour in the oil, add the vinegar.
2. Give to boil the cabbage for half an hour, then Supplement composition vegetable condiments.
3. Thoroughly wash the mushroom caps and put them on the gas in a separate pan.

- After 10 hours, dismantle the structure and drain off the accumulated juice.
- Add the remaining spices – pepper, salt and sugar.
- Now add in the vegetables of water, and simmer for another 20 minutes.
