Summer in Britain will open a major exhibition of works by Yves Saint Laurent
You have already planned summer vacation? If you are a real connoisseur of fashion and admirer of the famous French couturier Yves Saint Laurent, don't forget to include in their journey of good old England, where from 11 July to 25 October will be an exhibition-a retrospective of the genius works of this Maestro of fashion.
The exhibition entitled Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal will present more than fifty items illustrating the life and work of the legendary designer. The exhibition is organized by the brand Yves Saint Laurent the Fondation Pierre Bergé, the founder of which, Pierre Berger has looked after a small cozy castle, worthy of exhibition.
Pierre admitted that he personally walked all of London in search of suitable premises, until he came to the Bowes Museum, located in a miniature French castle architecture, built in the Second Empire. Provincial Museum dedicated to County Durham, thanks to the exhibition Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal will receive a new round of development. And visitors this summer will see the legendary images of the "Russian" collection of the fashion designer, famous for "the Director" dress, women's tuxedo, which caused a noise in 1967, and many other interesting creations of Yves Saint Laurent.
